Hello,
My Corsair SF750 power supply is barely a year old and has now a faulty capacitor. I noticed that the temperature of the power supply was quite warm to the touch and that the fan was not turning. I know there’s a 0db mode and that the fan turns when the power supply delivers 300W, but I rarely reach them.
For example, I spent the day gaming, my GPU and CPU at 50-55°c for over 8 hours. Total consumption of 180W.
Can the “high” ambient temperature in the case damage the power supply?
