Before anyone gets excited he means that literally, FIFA wants to operate gold mines in India.
This is the best comment I’ve read on Reddit in ages. Well done
He literally wants to explode Indians.
Edit: Fuck I can‘t read, it says explored not explode.
Ballon d’ors gotta come from somewhere
Smh, the real value in India is the cheap call centres
Lol at the mods on here.
Casual racism, I can tell that you’re proud of it
FIFA wants to operate gold mines in India.
Ha, smart move. Cut out the middle man and go for the gold directly. More money for FIFA!
Just misspoke, meant “exploited”
Lmao sadly this could actually be real news.
Today I feel gold
Kolar FC shirt sponsor FIFA
I imagine Infantino saying this, then smiling big to show that he has 3 gold teeth…
Infantino covered in gold powder literally would look like Gold Dust.
Gold Minger
KGFC
No offense but many countries with much less resources are far more interesting from footballing point of view.
India to arsenal confirmed.
These comments get more and more racist the further you scroll down…
A country that obsessed with football, with that many players, could easily be a football powerhouse.
How is that possible, clubs have super accurate scouting programs, how can they ignore a whole country?
Has Wenger never heard of cricket?, cos it’s the only sport they really care about, there’s no room for anything else
There’s pandering and then there’s pandering.
Always wondered about this. Out of +1 billion people, they couldn’t find ONE talented football player?
Indian players are able to compete with players from Brazil, japan and all to a reasonable extent till the youth leagues. But after that the gap widens, probably due to the High quality matches played by the top teams.
Because there’s hardly any focus on it and very tiny amount of resources gone into developing football especially when you compare it to Cricket. The money poured into cricket is absolutely insane
name 3 indian footballers ever
Don’t tell the British
Indian national team will be held back as long as they ban dual citizenship though
Dual citizenship does not fix the grassroots development, building talent in house will develop the sport and will be sustainable.
Really optimistic about Indian Football. There are signs but hoping we actually have something to show.
I think in India cricket is a garrote strangling every other sport. I suspect until India develops it’s own superstar to draw the attention of sports fans, football will remain largely an afterthought.
Ya well a country with 1.5b that produced 0 talent till date. Gold mine but you have to explore very hard and deep. Worth it?
