Today I learned the word Puissant!
adjective: puissant
having great power or influence.

The context was “Some of us have more and more puissant sweat glands than others.”
Usually used to refer to somebody like a king, or somebody with great power in a community, I like the use of it here too! The word seems to be pretty archaic but it still seems fun to use!
Puissance can also be used for powers of ten - e.g. 5000 is “cinq a puissance trois”
