If it gets more people to install uBlock Origin then good.
I guess it won’t be long until Google finds out who is blocking their ads and finds a way to demonetize those particular views for the channels. We’ll have people in videos asking you to deactivate the adblocker so they can get paid.
It’s all fun and games till google starts deleting gmail accounts. That is if the value of user data deflates and google’s ad-based business model fails. Which it may if some other party disrupts them. Seems likely as google lags behind in AI development. Though it may be for the best. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Good way to push people to competitors and proton and alienate them towards the company and it’s entire ecosystem.
If they do this I will be self hosting everything I need
