It might be worth noting that if this community is put on there to state that lemmy does have federation wonkiness right now especially with authorized fetch enabled instances since it shows up as a group on the rest of fedi. Thankfully there’s some changes coming soon to fix that on both lemmy and mastodon, but yeah.
I’ve never heard of NaNoWriMo, maybe open with a welcome post that gives a quick and dirty rundown of the concept? Is the goal really to write something in a month?
I’m sort of doing my own version this year and writing 50k words of video script instead, so that probably doesn’t count. But if you do decide to do weekly check-in posts or whatever I’ll certainly be there to cheer the real writers along! 😄
