70 hours a week??? That sounds more like a prison sentence than a job…

I don’t think India is divided. Noone will work more than required if given an option. IT folks might end up spending more hours in office but do less work when forced to do more hours.For other non executive work, it is clearly against the law. If folks want longer hours then they should start paying per hour. This will allow folks who need the money to pick up extra hours. Even then 70 hours is impossible.
