I was quite surprised to see Arsenal at second, didn’t realize they had so many players with high market values.

I mean transfermarkt is literally completely meaningless when it comes to valuing a player. It’s based on comments people post on their forums.

Here’s some examples of the standard of those voting on Mason Mount.

Performance-wise this value is not justified. He is young und has had a good credit in the past but the recent struggles justify a lower value.

Sorry Mason you did th wrong choice of team

      very useless since 2021

      These are your experts.

Most nfl teams are more valuable than Manchester city. One day people will accept American football is the real “greatest game”

    Tebas licks lips

“That’s quite the valuation you have there. Shame if someone were to reevaluate it.”

Why so low? Soccer has such a much bigger audience but American football teams are worth 5-9 times more than the most valuable soccer team?

Number of teams. The entire wealth of that sport is concentrated into 32 teams, whereas there’s over 100 professional clubs in England alone.

It’s largely because of the size of our squad. If you’re looking at player average value we’re 8th, which is still insane given where we are, but most players we own are young and have just had a big transfer, so that’s going to be reflected in Transfermarkt’s valuations even if they weren’t worth it

Yea I know you guys have a very large squad. Also the bias that transfermarkt has towards young (understandable) English players (not sure understandable) playing in the English premier league (understandable) is absolutely insane

tbf Nottingham bought like two XIs worth of players and loaned in a few more. Hell when we loaned out Andre they didn’t have any DMs and now they have like 3 ahead of him alone.
