I’ll get the ball rolling:

Dead Man’s Shoe (2004)

Sounds like a tearjerking tale of a recently-bereaved man returning the shoe of a road accident victim he found in a bush to the victim’s late wife, through which they spark a deep friendship that goes beyond mere love. PG-13 5/10 Oscar-bait shite.

Shit, that might be good. Dark comedy about a minor crook trying to finesse his way out of an escalating manhunt. Take a page from Friday and make it about some paltry amount of money. Dude always has a simple plan that technically works, but catches some monkey’s paw nonsense at every turn. Breaks into a vending machine, gets stuck, gets robbed. Jumps that guy to get his money back, finds a surprisingly nice handgun, gets spotted by pedestrians who think he just killed some innocent rando.

By the end of act one, he’s committed about $300 worth of property damage, punched a gangbanger in the nuts, hopped a garden fence, impersonated a hardware-store clerk, awkwardly fumbled some tough questions into a hostage situation, triggered the sprinkler system with a warning shot, fled into the parking lot, been clipped by a distracted driver, and hopped into that car when she got out to help. The money-shot for the trailer is his double-take at the baby in back, giggling at the shocked expression on his sopping-wet face.
