Crazy that people still think Kane leaving and Spurs leading the table is just a coincidence.

They have a been playing incredible team football as a unit.

The coach change from pragmatic football to this is a big reason too

I don’t think it was anything to do with him as a player exactly - he could fit in to Ange’s system brilliantly - but I do think his presence itself came to dominate things a bit too much. Given his ability, work ethic, and time at the club, everything tended to defer to him more than was entirely healthy.

As an example, I’d cite the fact that he was generally first in line to take our attacking free kicks - despite his success rate with them being… sub-optimal. It wasn’t Harry’s fault, but in some ways his commanded too much respect.

What a fucking goal. I fucking love that Ange refuses to even move from Vicario before Crystal Palace press. We have no reason to go forward until you come to us.

Over the summer, the amount of r/soccer experts coming out and telling me how without Kane, Spurs squad was absolutely trash and they had no quality at all.

Of course we added some players, but that Spurs squad had a huge amount of talent then and it’s shining through now. Suppose it’s what I deserve for coming on here expecting balanced discussions, it’s more reactionary than a hypochondriac.

Man, football is so simple, you just pass pass pass pass pass and pass into the box and you score.
