Would be nice if there could just be safer cycling infrastructure in general.
I cycle in London a lot, and the improvement to cycling infrastructure over the last 20 years has been extraordinary in many boroughs
I just wish outer boroughs would take it more seriously. I have a lot of bike lanes in my zone 5 borough, but they start out of nowhere, go for a short while and then end suddenly. So on paper we have loads of cycling infrastructure here, but in practice it’s useless and it’s better and safer to just ride on the road in traffic.
Do cyclist get hit and killed daily in the UK, or is this another unique American problem? I’m terrified to ride here.
Not killed daily but they do get hit and injured a lot. Deaths are on a downward trend.
