    Great idea 🤡

At least away supporters will be allowed to attend the games.

As opposed to cup games, preseason friendlies, etc.

‘Regular season’ adds more context to people only really familiar with American sports as well (though I’m not sure how many American’s unfamiliar with European leagues would be clicking on an article about Ligue 1 in the first place).

PSG has definitely gotten a grip in the US market at least in terms of visibility and recognition. I see lots of kids with PSG gear even though they may not follow the team closely.

What about fans ? They will have to travel from France to USA to watch their own team in a regular season ? This is stupid

I don’t see the benefit. In the first place, Ligue 1 isn’t even really available to American viewers on TV, as Bein holds the rights and is hidden on Premium Sports TV packages that few soccer fans get these days since everything else is easier to find.

The Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, and a few other major European leagues are far more accessible to viewers in the United States, so Ligue 1 is at a major disadvantage.

They’re just trying to make Jacksonville the London team it seems. Germany gets good matches like Chiefs vs Dolphins, the best AFC teams currently and with two of the biggest stars in Mahomes and Hill

To be fair the English market would be great for the NFL to have a team in. Bonus point that the stadium is already built so it works out.
