The most surprising part of this is finding out Elneny is still an Arsenal player
He’s one of those players thats clearly not good enough to start but as a sub or when the situation is dire with injuries he can still come in and do a very decent job.
He’s apparently a very model player and liked in the dressing room and Arsenal gave him this 1 year contract that he’s currently on when he was injured which was nice from the club.
Yeah, seems like he’s mostly just a training squad guy now that’s beginning his path into coaching.
Actually his contract was supposed to end this summer but the club extended it so he still has a contract while recovering from his ACL injury.
