I enjoyed Babylon 5 which had 22 episode seasons. As much as I’d like to go back to that format, each season did have a bunch of filler episodes.

I guess it helped break up the season so you didn’t just have a run of 8-10 episodes all on the same thing, but at the same time, how much of the filler gets re-watched?

I’m being told Peacemaker Season 2, Episodes 6-8 get NUTS. To a point where it feels like season 3 in 3 episodes. Guess we’ll find out on Thursday…

loki was only 6 per season, and most marvel ones are that long. 8-9 is probably the average they will do, and it shows the cracks in the quality.

Marvel Studios under Disney really only knows how to make movies. So their shows end up being long movies. That works better for some stories than others, but on the whole I’d say it was detrimental for them.

I thought Loki was longer than that? I guess not. FELT longer. LOL. I know Eyes of Wakanda and Marvel Zombies are just 4.

I was about to say “and that’s too short!” but I watched Marvel Zombies tonight and was already bored 1/2 way through the first episode, read a Wiki for #2 and 3 to make sure I didn’t miss anything (surprise! I did not!) and jumped to the end.
