So I looked up how Damian was conceived because was curious when it Batman’s career it happened and how it happened, and then Google Al Summary said that Talia Al Ghul raped Batman because she and her father thought that he was the perfect specimen or something.
Obviously, I couldn’t be certain, so I read the comic on found out that it was true, which is really fucking disturbing.
So, that comic (Batman And Son) is meant to be the main inspiration for The Brave And The Bold, and I was wondering if this should be a part of the movie.
I have two differing views on it.
-
It should not be because this movie will probably be child friendly, and something like that is not child friendly. Also, if they want Talia to have a sympathetic arc at some point down the line, turning her into a fucking rapist won’t do any favors.
-
It should be a part of the movie because male victims of sexual assault is something that should be recognized, and DC has the platform to do that.
a. However, if it is acknowledged, it might just be a swept under the rug thing, like ‘btw Talia raped Bruce’ and then never mentioned again.
