Imagine imprisoning the people who are responsible for bringing new, functional adults to our society for the inane crime of teaching.

The scary part about it is, they probably don’t believe that is what they’re doing at all. I’d wager almost all of the people getting behind this are people who believe that the responsibility of bringing new, functional adults to society is the sole purview of the church.

Who better to arrest? The Republicans want to infect the minds of the kids and purging/silencing the teachers who don’t comply makes sense.

They are trying to “bring God back into schools”. Ted Cruz’s dad is involved with a PAC that’s trying to via school boards.

Well, when education is kind of a problem for your plans of building a third world country…

I wouldn’t necessarily say third world, as that would imply the rich would be losing money as well, but I understand what you mean.

Although that being said, the richest people on the planet tend to be complete fucking imbeciles themselves (Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Tim Cook, etc.)

Third world countries can have rich people, too. Usually the government officials.
