Yes only time will tell. They really should have stuck with it after the 2010s film. All the hype around it. Everything was primed for a sequel. But then they got cold feet and questioned themselves. Even SL was Awash in cybergoth/ Tron related things at the time.
Now without some of the cast coming back from what I heard. More than a decade after all the hype died down Etc. It’s definitely hard to get hyped for it.
That’s probably part of it, but to be fair, Trent’s won 2 Oscars, 2 Emmys, 3 Golden Globes, and numerous other awards for his soundtrack work…
