    I used to work at a veterans centre. I’ll never understand how they’re all traumatized and sensitive about their war experience, yet they’re surrounded by war paintings on every wall

      I guess because the war paintings are general and don’t depict their buddy with his body split open and entails scattered all over.

        I used to get jumpy during fireworks and it didn’t go away until the last 10 years or so. I grew up during a Marxist/capitalist civil war, we used to live close to a military hospital, so you could hear mortar and air defences to try and keep the guerillas away from the area. Mortars sound surprisingly similar to some fireworks. Also so many helicopters, it was hard to sleep undisturbed.

    Shitlibs only pretend to care about traumatized veterans (many of whom are probably busy shooting off fireworks) because of their neurotic dog coddling agenda 🎆
