This doesn’t appear to be doing anything new (at least so far) but Cloverworks’ gorgeous animation and direction really sell it regardless. Everyone’s very cute and I’m eager to see them grow. I give the premiere a 4/5.

Potential generational fumble by Netflix. They thought they could simuldub but couldn’t pull it off. On the flip side, this could be a hybrid batch/weekly release, so it’s a case study for how that would look like.
Livechart says that english subs will be available on a week delay in at least some regions (“Asia-Pacific”, allegedly), so with a VPN it should be accessible much sooner. Either way, though, Netflix is doing what they do again…
Edit: I can confirm that the English subtitles are available from Japanese netflix

My most anticipated Romance Summer Anime. Her drooling over cake is so cute. She is eating cake but I will get diabetes xD
