Seriously, what happened to them? I made an account like a year ago or so (during the Reddit API incident). And when I wanted to start over again today feddit.de was down.

Yeah sorry, it was feddit.de. I just did a quick dive into the rabbit hole. Apparently the admin’s username was wintermute (later changed to necromancer). Looks like they modded a bunch of conservative communities around here. Then went on a vacation to a south asian country then disappeared without a trace. Now feddit.org has a rule for all admins to not travel to south asian countries.
