The DNC would rather try to split the vote and let a Republican win than allow any sort of socialist leaning person into power

In this case it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the DNC. New York allows him to continue to run despite losing the primary because he already qualified to be on the ballot.

It’s dumb, because he’s already conceded the primary, and he knows doing so is divisive, but the silver lining is that New York has ranked choice voting, at least.

Id like to point out that Andrew Cuomo himself is not divisive, unlike Mamdani. I thought he made that very clear in the debates? /s

As a ‘vote blue no matter who’ person who’s interned for two democratic members of congress, I am increasingly viewing the DNC as an active threat to america on par with the GOP

The motto is frankly terrible and on its face a lowkey dig at actual genuine democracy…like spitting in our faces. Im actually glad the rabid reactionaries are taking it to you guys on that front, its just awful messaging. I am a blue collar rural worker, and from my perspective it seems we need nothing short of bolshevism. And fast. “Anti fascism” as a method for combatting fascism simply won’t cut it.
