I really don’t understand why Intel’s response to finally having a worthy competitor after market domination is just to absolutely crumble and hinder any potential return to form. It seems they had a good thing for a couple years with their last CEO, but they got rid of them right when the fruits of that labor started to show (chip work is usually a multi year long process, so results aren’t regularly seen right away, is my understanding).

Because cannibalizing companies is the only thing capitalists know how to do to extract profit

I wonder who downvoted you. It’s a true statement. Capitalists aren’t there to make good products or services. They solely exist to squeeze as much money out of everything they can. They are a disease.
