Trans people are people and can be abusive or assault others just like everybody else. Trans folk have to deal with more mental health issues than the average person. I’m just guessing, but it might make them more likely to be victims of violence or to abuse others.

Of course this is only anecdotal.
Bathroom restrictions don’t protect against abusers of any gender. People should feel safe using a bathroom regardless of their gender or sexuality.
Remember the media is slightly biased towards showing news of assaults from such groups.
I’m sure you can find news about assaults by cis men in bathrooms as well.

Of course the whole trans bathroom debate is controversial and gets more views.
Yeah I think that’s a good point…harassing or assaulting women in the bathroom (or anywhere) is already illegal.
Yes, the argument about no trans people in bathrooms is about the others feeling safe.
