    Denmark… that makes more sense. In America you’d be arrested for trespassing, or at a minimum, once your badge is de-activated you’d have no access.

    “I was laid off in May, and per Danish law, as an employee of over nine years, I have a six-month notice period. I’ve been relieved of my duties, but I am still officially an employee until the end of November. I’m also entitled to three months of severance pay after my notice.”

      I still feel like it’s idiotic to do work after you’ve been let go, I don’t care how much your colleagues rely on you, the corporation decided you weren’t worth keeping around. At least he’s getting paid, but he could effectively be on a 9 month paid vacation doing literally anything else with his time.
