you can lock a bike like this to a post just like any other but it will stick out more. even with a regular bike its hard to secure both tires with one lock. I have the largest u-lock and a cable on my bike. The cable gets secured with the u-lock so its only on thing to unlock but threading the cable takes time.

Yeah, unless the wheels are bolted on, I’ll use one u-lock to secure the rear wheel, and another to secure the front wheel and frame.

As long as I have at least one u-lock on it, I feel less uneasy about having my bike locked outside.

Even bolted on. I use the less secure cable on the rear wheel which is more of a pain to remove and the cable I use is that coil spring type so if they cut it they will likely still have to fuss to remove it. Nothing is 100% but you can make it as annoying as possible. I always said spend more on your lock than your bike (at least the one you lock up away from home).

This is the way! It’s a shame that we have to also inconvenience ourselves because of some degenerate thieves, but prevention is way better than dealing with the aftermath of theft.

Im so disapointed in the cardboard bike not becoming a thing. I was hoping for a bike so cheap I could lock it up with a luggage lock and that cable they secure projectors with. You know the stuff that is super thin but like you still need like a two handed bolt cutter thing to cut it.
