    I mean this is probably just budgeting.

    If they are adamant on continuing the show though. Why not majorly reduce it to like 5 episodes a year, and actually make them good again, get good writers, not the current corpo-simps, etc.

      I have 2 thoughts on the subject.

      1. The last season actually did have an uptick in quality. The Treehouse of Horror was legitimately excellent.
      2. I don’t think Julie Kavner’s voice can make it 4 more seasons. It’s very sad to say, but her voice has clearly suffered from doing Marge all these years.

      If they were going to learn from their mistakes and make the show funnier again, their opportunity was to do so with season 10.

    Sounds like slight cost cutting, which is fine.

    Most episodes this past season were great, but obviously you have a few filler episodes that were just ok, which really just means you have an idea that didn’t work.

    Full steam ahead I say!

    If they’re going to follow the streaming model, they’ll also have to wait two years between seasons.
