I’m pretty sure I read an article the other day which mentioned in passing some people getting haircuts at the protests up in San Francisco. So I don’t know, maybe it’s a thing.
Seems like a good way to show police that your intentions are nonviolent. I mean, it’s hard to attack someone with an electric razor, especially all geared up like that.
“They were crouched in the street, I couldn’t tell what they were doing, but one of them had a razor to the other ones head. I feared for my life and those of my fellow officers, so I felt I had no option but to shoot them both.”
Is there some kind of deeper meaning or message here? or is this just a weird thing to do in front of a police line?

LAPD: LOOK OUT! HE HAS AN ELECTRIC RAZOR! GET HIM!

TLDR;
“So I started blasting.”
That’s the fun part, they don’t care if you’re a pacifist or not, they’ll kick you ass too and get away with it.
