    fwiw, I agree with what you wrote here. My intention was not to imply “Iran good, Israel bad,” though judging by the upvotes it seems like I’ve tapped into that part of lemmy. My reductive quip still describes their motivation though.

      Iran is good compared to israel.

      I’d rather live all my life under islamic conservative dictatorship than see my mum firebombed because I’m arab.
