This sounds great and I’d love to use this kind of longer distance biking system.
At the same time, I am apprehensive about how many bikes could end up on roads/sidewalks around me.
I spend most of my time walking or driving a car and not bicycling. There are a fair number of bicyclists and teenage e-bike “gangs” in my town that are difficult to maneuver around when driving or walking.
I just do not want biking clubs from multiple counties to coalesce in my small town for a multi-hour ride along or race-type event.
That doesn’t mean I’m against the bill, but I hope there is some form of mitigating system or policy for this challenge.
