So, fun fact. They’re actually originally green but were showing up as gold underneath the lights that they were using. After a while they said fuck it, put in dialogue canonizing the Golden shirts and went with that. However, this wrap around shirt was made from a different material that wasn’t impacted by the lighting. So the green color you see here was what the original Command color was!
Since then, they’ve just used the green shirts seemingly at complete random. More like Easter Eggs than anything else.
