the superior 25th steelbook anniversary release which was regraded for dolby vision and is generally considered the definitive release. Out of print, $70-$100 online given the limited supply and the demand for the best version
They stopped printing the 25th anniversary because it was the more expensive version (steelbook) but they could’ve pressed it into the same stupid plastic case as the $15 version they keep on the market
Piracy is ethically and morally correct against hostile corporations that refuse to provide the best quality product, or provide it temporarily then remove access to only then provide a subpar product, especially when said corporations have excessive amounts of capital.
There’s a solution for that…

There are better solutions than literally anything that could be behind that Amazon link.
I clicked it hoping it was a Nas or other PC ready to sail the seas, I was disappointed.
If you’re looking for a Nas I like this one

$15 for a 4K disc that can’t be taken away from you. Physical is the answer.
It’s an answer 🏴☠️
And it can be bought anywhere other than Amazon.
You’d think, right? Best Buy and Target don’t sell them anymore. Walmart is hit and miss on anything other than new releases.
For national availability it’s pretty much Amazon these days.
Hell, they sell the DVD for five. Let’s be honest, that’s not a 4K kind of movie.
You can really see the “made in China” on the costumes
Unless your Blu-ray player can’t phone home to verify the license on your disc in which case it stops working.
You’re confusing Blu Ray (which requires nothing like that) with BD-LIVE which does.
But, honestly, I haven’t seen a disc with BD-LIVE in ages.

Also fuck amazon
i love having a dvd library i’m just scared they’re gonna stop producing them all together :(
All the more reason to home onto 'em.
I mean, they still make vinyl for gods sake, I doubt DVD and Blu Ray are going anywhere.
