      But there is the possibility of people and the sun outside. How can one have fun outside when one risks to encounter people and getting bombarded with high energy death rays.

        Check out public land in your area. Usually less busy than neighborhood parks and what not. And sometimes there are trees who will shield you from the high energy death rays, and they are wonderful companions
