Mine hit me with the “We’re spending all this money on you now so you can’t grow up and say we didn’t spend money on you when your were a kid.”

    My mum frequently says negative stuff to me, but the one that sticks with me a lot is when she called me a “freak that no one will ever love” after I came out as trans.

    My mom constantly told me I was a mistake… that I should have been aborted. We were poor, miserable, and despite me trying my best, she never seemed happy with me.

    After that, I vowed I would NEVER have a kid. I made her so miserable. I’m open to fostering, but I’d never bring a whole, new human into this world.
