      Because they aren’t announcing it until june 13.

      The renaming of the ship was set to become public on June 13, the memo said. While a new name for the Milk has not been announced, the memo said Hegseth and Phelan are set to make the announcement aboard the oldest commissioned ship in the Navy, the USS Constitution.

        Hmmmm.

        That’s the day before POTUS’s birthday. Trump would love a big beautiful boat named after him as a birthday gift bribe to not fire Hegseth for royally fucking up.

        Sad to see the constitution used to spread such hate. But I guess her namesake has gotten the same treatment forever.

                That was her first duties but when the original 6 frigates were built the British were the enemy on everyone’s mind. Thats why they were so heavy gunned for frigates of their day. They could only budget for 6 and knew they would have to duke it out with the Royal Navy.
