I used to think I was bad at graphic design and creative work, but now I think the problem is Adobe software. After being able to punch things out in GIMP, Inkscape, and Davinci Resolve, I tried to do some basic work in Premiere Pro at work and hit the same walls I did in Photoshop.
Maybe the problem isn’t me, it’s that the software is laid out like shit. Plus, the workflow for every adobe product is different, whereas there is at least some consistency between entirely separate FOSS equivalents.
