This mod does this kind of thing… a lot. Search for “qrstuv” and take a look at other mentions of them in this community

It would seem it to me, yeah. Enforcing stringent rules that are, as far as I can tell, completely unwritten is just manufacturing reasons to ban people. Between that, the bizarre Garfield comic edits, the fact that a solid half of the account’s entire history is “thank you for creating [descriptor] content!”, and the near-total refusal to actually talk to anyone, I have no fucking idea what’s going on with that account

I don’t know if that’s PTB or the mod being, well, I want to insult their intelligence, but I won’t. So it’s PTB.

The comment may have been short, but it conveyed the idea effectively in that length. It’s also very true.

Every post I see in that community is locked, and almost all of them are by the same user. The whole community is a power trip.

Is it just me or does SDF have a lot of questionable mod and admin actions?

To clarify, I’m not accusing them of acting maliciously or anything. I just think they’re weird people.

Nor does it bring someone back if someone dies from being hit. It’s still incredibly negligent and irresponsible.

It’s a tool designed specifically for killing. If it’s brandished, it’s inherently deadly. Don’t be an idiot.

wow. people in here don’t know what a warning shot is. this is crazy. it’s a shot someone fires on the ground or in the water near someone to quickly tell them by the sound and where the shot hits that continuing their actions means the next shot will be aimed at them and will likely kill them. it’s a quick last resort to prevent killing them.

sometimes warning shots are fired in the air, when there is no safe spot on the ground or in the water, but that’s worse, because the shots will come down uncontrolled somewhere. it’s still better than killing people right away.

“Warning shots” fired at the ground are incredibly dangerous and can kill someone as well. The OP is right, there is no safe way to fire a warning shot.
