Blows my mind that she was still making important decisions for this country two decades after the rest of us are told we’re too old to work.

I don’t think she was making any decisions actually. Not even regarding which direction to wipe.

There’s something beautiful in that. And memes are likely a more trustworthy source of info than most websites these days.

I’m sure a lot of propoganda/misinformation is spread through memes as well though.

The worst thing they do is trick hordes of people into thinking they’re informed because they read a headline posted with a reaction image and an agenda.

Given that Katie Porter and Adam Schiff are running for the seat, 0%.

Well, unless Newsom somehow appoints a geriatric Interim senator.

Think about it - this isn’t like, “oh I can’t believe the news she died!” This is straight up: “yep, died of old age, totally expected.” She was on the way out for a long time and everyone who supported her being there knew she couldn’t fulfill her job requirements yet let her stay in office for political reasons. Which doesn’t make sense to me either: her seat wasn’t going to be filled by a Republican.

Yeah but do you know how long it takes to animate another corpse? Especially when you have a perfectly malleable one at home. It’s just not practical for the modern political necromancer.
