It only started getting covered every once in a while months before the election, and the vast majority of coverage was along the lines of “well orangeboi says he has nothing to do with it and has no idea what it is, and we are too fucking lazy to do any real, incisive journalism to nail him to the wall on that”.
Yeah I summarized it for people and told people about it and they didn’t care. The problem is indifferent voters that think America is inherently a democratic nation. This government is corruptible just like any other.
