I mean if you’re this overweight, not sure if running is the right move. You’ll just end up hurting your joints.

Exactly. My coworker is very overweight and they’re trying to lose it, and they’re explicitly avoiding running and focusing on walking for exactly this reason.

Even if you’re not overweight, walk before you run so you can build up all the supporting muscles you’ll need so you don’t injure yourself.

Yeah I’d say you should probably try swimming or something instead. Unsure of any other activities that are easier for the body.

Walking, cycling, and swimming are the go-to low impact exercises.

Walking for a long time with that size might be difficult still. Cycling could be uncomfortable depending on the seat but that’s kinda fixable. I was biking for a time and my ass hurt

Gym exercise bikes tend to have really wide seats, so that’s a good option. Or you can get a wider seat for your regular bike as well.

The important thing is to get active, and ideally vary your exercises a bit.

Cycling is a dream if you have the balance. You get to go fast which pleases my dumb monkey brain
