Snopes says her methods are legit
Note that the story here says the toothpastes have lead in them, not that they’re necessarily causing lead poisoning, so it seems entirely accurate.

While it’s entirely possible that some toothpaste brands contain lead, I’ll wait until an independent test laboratory confirms this before I worry about it.
I would say it’s not a stretch to bet that Crest and Colgate are at the forefront of issues…
