    It’s relative.

    They’re just different cultures.

    I don’t know this for a fact, but I’ve read, and a guy I personally know who worked in Russia back in the 80’s state that it’s just Russian culture to take advantage of the “weak.” They just believe if you’re not trying to get over, you’re stupid.

    The Chinese put the good of the whole (The State) over the individual, and are highly authoritarian, and brutal when they think it’s necessary, to enforce that ideology. Obviously, those in power in will take advantage of their position, but not like Americans do.

    That said, those cultural mindsets would be alien to me, and I don’t want to live in either of those cultures.

      I hate the CCP like dick cancer. But unlike the US, their government doesn’t have to first please a bunch of billionaires before they do any improvements to infrastructure that might help some poors and less well off.
