    I wonder if I’ll live long enough to witness the Rust rewrite of ReactOS

    (it’s written in C and has had a snail pace development, well, since forever. not meant as a negative btw. it’s just that their resources and demand for it are quite limited afaik)

      Maybe they started developing before rust was mainstream. Battle-testing and debugging in the real world matters more than programming language anyways?

    they haven’t reached windows xp feature set, as i understand. i think they are around win 2k.

    but might become interesting for europe.
