Same but they have text messages too. I just tell them it doesn’t work on my phone, which is true because I use grapheme OS and no play store. People also will get signal if you give them no other option to contact you - its free, they’re just lazy. Just text them your username and tell them you left WhatsApp, you don’t need to ask permission
