Conservative Pierre Poilievre’s politics aren’t just about populism — they’re grounded in Milton Friedman’s radical vision of free markets. If he is elected prime minister, Poilievre promises a Canada where the welfare state is “out of business.”

Gotta wonder if Harper still has any influence over him.

Well he won’t undergo a background check to get security clearance so I guess we’ll never know who is pulling his strings!

If he does, he’ll have to pay attention to intel about how the US, and foreign influence is working to get him elected.

        If I don’t know, I can’t be accountable.

You KNOW Harper is still active behind the curtain.

Indeed; there’s no doubt about it. He’s chairman of the IDU, which works hard to advance right-leaning policies worldwide.

In January, he did say that Trump’s threats aren’t the words of “a friend,” so let’s hope he is working FOR our national interests…

I saw Harper doing some kind of podcast interview recently and the comments were astroturfed to the fucking moon.
