With lazy headlines like this, it’s no wonder the average person thinks he’s talking sense. The tariffs will be on imports into the US from these countries. The tariffs will be paid by the importers.
And added to the price so the importers make the same profit. We are people are going to be paying a 25% tax on everything we buy from 2 of our biggest trading partners. And a 20% “because we can, fuck you” increase on domestic products.
All they had to do was add the word “goods” and they would have been good.
