A French child is never late nor are they early, they arrive when they precisely mean to 🇫🇷🥖
Please place them gently in the collection chute.
Why don’t they just let the kids in? Who cares if they are a little late. Life’s complicated, shit happens.
“Tardiness” rules always struck me as pedantic bullshit. “Nope. You’re here 3 seconds after the bell rang. Now, miss more class to go get a late slip from the office.”
So we should wait for those late, to start ? Tell me how it’s fair for those who arrived in time.
No, start the class on time and the kids who get there within a minute or so can just walk in and sit down, like you do in a world that isn’t run by bean counting shit fuckers.
While I agree with the spirit of your argument, a 5 or 6 year old is not going to be able to enter a classroom without making a disturbance. And students entering late make it more difficult for the teacher.
Also, if this is an issue so much that the school has to put our a statement, it’s probably not just a one time thing, it’s probably the continued abuse of the existing system to the detriment of those following said system.
This is going to happen regardless of if you have a late slip or not.
Read the article about this and the policy seems really really dumb. If parents miss the 8:30am deadline they have to wait until 10am. So they have to waste an hour and a half of their day because a school administrator can’t be arsed to walk to the gate and take the child inside?
Like if parents are resorting to throwing their child over a 6ft tall fence maybe take a look at your policies that are making people resort to that?
Not to excuse the parents, cuz they’re dumb too.
How light are French children that you can throw them over an 6 foot tall fence
Little practice and a decent hammer throw technique your average adult ought to be able to get higher than a six foot arc with 50lbs. Trick is to grab em by the ankles, looking them in the eye is incredibly distracting.
Or just solongeybowser them
I prefer The Trunchbull’s Olympic hammer throw method:
Amazing. Just be sure not to aim for the bombs

Elementary kids? 50-70 pounds. Oh wait we want kilos. With cheese.
French children are typically the size of human children. This might be surprising from an US perspective.
American obesity is a plague spreading here to Canada too
They are full of hot air like all Frensh people…
It’s from the Baguettes.

You’re telling me you can lift a 50 pound child over your head and toss them? Multiple times a week?

Frère ou sœur, est-ce que tu soulèves au moins?
Well I ain’t deadlifting toddlers
Don’t tell the English.
How strong is Aragorn that he could toss a dwarf, who are stout and heavy? He must have some elvish strength enhanced jewelry.
Aragorn is a Dunedain, a superior race of humans who were blessed by the gods (before Sauron caused their downfall). That’s why he’s the rightful king, and why he has such impressive feats of strength, intelligence and courage.
Where do the books detail that? I’ve read them, but I never caught that before. I thought the Dunedin were just another ethnicity of men. That’s pretty cool though.
It’s most throughly detailed in The Silmarillion, but you’ll find some scattered references to Númenor in the main trilogy. Essentially, the Númenorians were deceived by Sauron shortly before their end, but some refused to abandon Eru (god), and were blessed
Oh, I haven’t read the Silmarillion or the Hobbit yet! Are they good books? Idk why I stopped at just the trilogy, considering how much I loved them.
They’re outstanding books, if you enjoyed LotR – beware, though, that the Hobbit is a bit more childish and Silmarillion is somewhat disjointed if taken as a single story (it’s more of a collection of different stories)
Great! I’ll start on them when I finish the Worldwalker series that I’m reading right now. Which should I read first?
IMO, start with The Hobbit, that way you can get a better look into Tolkien’s mind before plunging into his legendarium.
NOT THE BEARD!!!
