I think how Chelsea treats players in general. I get Maresca wants to choose the best players for how he wants to play, but if that’s the case then they should have been looking to move them on. They have moved some on, but they still have like a 36 player squad.

Apparently Chilwell was one that was excluded and Maresca doesn’t see him fitting into his plans. Maybe there were no buyers or Chilwell doesn’t really have any intention of moving on and is happy to just chill. It honestly makes me wonder why players bother to move there if they want to play for a legitimate team. If they’re after a paycheck, they can just chill on the bench. If they even make it that far.
