    Cool. This is very good news. Vegan cat food was unthinkable for a long time because of the lack of taurine. Now they only need to become able to sell those products for a lower price and there won’t be any good arguments (i.e. not based on the naturalistic fallacy) against it. I mean as long as the cats in question will eat it. I heard, some cats are very picky in those matters.

      My cat’s prescription wet food is less than half that per can. I often feel guilt for being a cat owner, but her quality of life is high, and she’d be killing so many native birds if she was still feral. I really hope that means something in the long term. Hopefully this becomes popular enough to affect the prescription food side of things, too
