Leaning toward false flag as well. It feels very scripted. I’d wager the dying bit wasn’t part of the gunman’s agreement.

Step 1: Nobody talks about Trump, everybody is busy discussing how old Biden is. All attention with the dems

Step 2: Stage an assassination attempt with some blood but also good photos with a fist pump

Step 3: Kill the shooter so they don’t talk

Step 4: Profit and everyone talks about Trump now

I was actually thinking of the person in the crowd but yeah, gunman too. At the same time, if it were a setup, “killing” the gun man would be the move since there would be no one to investigate, right? But an innocent bystander killed?

I mean, no one in a crowd supporting a domestic threat to our constitution is an innocent bystander; but ignoring that, killing off one of his own peons to get the media stirred up in an advantageous way is 100% in character for Trump. He doesn’t give a fuck about any one member of his cult.

“I could shoot a person in broad daylight and never get arrested.”

I can’t say if it was or wasn’t false flag. What I can and will say, is if it wasn’t a false flag, the. The fist pump was a stupid and incredibly disrespectful thing to do.

Those secret service agents are shielding his life with theirs once they decide to move, you move and get in the truck and get the fuck out so everyone else can do their job or get to safety.

If I were one of them I’d have punched his gut and put him in a come along. (The punch is to double him over so he’s not making himself a target… also because I just don’t like him. Details.)

yeah. I’m not talking about anything political. Only the function of a body guard protecting an idiot. (I’m fully liscensed as a protective agent… aka body guard. edit: to clarify, I work as management now,) At that moment, their job was to remove the former president from the area… prefferably without him getting shot again.

So when he tries to stand up and make himself a target… their job is to push him down, and get him to the truck. To do that, I’d have socked him in the gut. In large part because I would be doing my job- and possibly taking a bullet from you. Every second he’s standing around being a dipshit is another potential opportunity.

His fist pump was a blatant disrespect to those agents. putting their lives in further danger. To my eyes, it makes him look like a weak, shitty leader who cares more about fucking appearances than the lives of the people sworn to protect him- to literally take a bullet for him. So yeah. if I were in their place, I’d punch him, and put him in a come along hold and drag his fat ass to the truck. a punch is far less dangerous than another bullet.

As for the oaths of office… yeah… that’s a giant fucking can of worms and you should probably be extremely careful how you phrase things. Besides which I am not, nor have ever been, employed by the government, or otherwise in a position to take such an oath. so there’s nothing there for me to “take seriously”.

Everyone discussing this possibility keeps focusing on the person dying, but why does anyone think these people give a shit?

In fact, a real death of a normal Trump supporter not only adds more fuel to the fire, but it would add an extra layer of obscurity for the people ultimately responsible. Because people like you will say it can’t be real.

Again, I am not saying this is what happened.

For sure. At this point, real or false flag are both plausible. Folks like Trump wouldn’t bat an eye at killing off a couple supporters if he could spin it for a positive gain.

I’m mostly just waiting on info on the gunman to draw a conclusion. Is he the kind of person who’d want Trump dead, or the kind of person who’d agree to shoot at the crowd behind Trump for a fat paycheck?

If the former, it’s too bad he missed.
