Digit is finger. They are watching a movie, not a game.
Game? Why would you think they’re playing a game? There is absolutely nothing hinting at that.
There’s no need to make someone feel dumber for a simple mixup.
Somehow I read it as a kind of sport, like it was a scoreboard with digits on.
