Be the change you want to see in the world. There’s so much political bullshit around masking that people do it even less than they used to pre-covid, including healthcare workers.
I was on a plane a few months ago and I swear to god half the plane was visibly sick. Coughing contantly, rubbing snot from their nose, looking upset. Etc. Zero had masks. This was an international flight so it wasn’t even a US thing. The world is universally fucking stupid.
Anytime I go shopping, especially at Costco or Target, there will be at least one person coughing in the open, no mask or anything. I make a beeline away from them as fast as I can, but sometimes I just wish I could yell at these people for being selfish idiots…
The one thing I was hoping we’d keep from Covid was sick people wearing masks in public.
